what you’ll need:
1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp salted butter
3 cups chicken stock
1/2 lb angel hair pasta
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup half and half
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
chicken seasoning
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions:
Mix the chicken seasonings together in a small bowl and set aside. Lay the chicken tenders on a large cutting board. Season the chicken tenders on both sides with the seasoning mixture.
Preheat a large skillet to medium-high heat. Add the avocado oil, and once hot, add the chicken tenders. Cook for about 4 minutes per side until the chicken is fully cooked.
While the chicken is cooking, preheat a large pot to medium heat. Add the butter and let it fully melt.
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Next, add the chicken stock and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the pasta. Do not break the pasta in half to fit it in, slowly and gently press the pasta into the water until fully submerged.
Let it boil for 4-5 minutes until the pasta is tender and the liquid is almost gone. Reduce the heat to medium low and add the parmesan cheese, half and half, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until the cheese is melted.
Serve immediately with a few pieces of chicken on top and salt + pepper to taste. This pasta is best served right away.
