I love a good In-N-Out Burger but unfortunately we don’t live near one anymore! I had to recreate my version of this protein style burger and I must say…it turned out amazing!

what you’ll need:

  • 1lb ground beef

  • mayo

  • ketchup

  • dill pickle relish

  • coconut aminos

  • white vinegar

  • 1 yellow onion

  • 1 large tomato

  • dill pickle chips

  • avocado

  • iceberg lettuce

  • avocado oil

  • salt & pepper

Instructions:

To make the burger, divide your ground beef into 4 equal pieces. Roll them into balls and then flatten them. Season with salt & pepper on both sides.

To a pan on medium-high heat add 1 tbs of avocado oil. Once the pan is hot add your burger patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.

To make the sauce you are going to add 1/2 cup mayo, 3 tbs ketchup, 2 tbs dill pickle relish, 2 tbs coconut aminos, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp of white vinegar to a bowl and mix it well and set aside.

Now it’s time to assemble! Lay down some iceberg lettuce and then one of the cooked patties (you can make it a double if you’d like) add on some caramelized onions or freshly sliced onion, sliced tomato, sliced avocado, pickles, & the homemade sauce. The avocado and pickles and tomato are an optional add-on!

Hope you enjoy it!
