Homemade High Protein Bagels

what you’ll need:
2 cups self rising flour
2 cups nonfat plain greek yogurt
1 egg
Everything but the bagel seasoning
Instructions:
To a large bowl add 2 cups self rising flour and 2 cups plain nonfat greek yogurt. Mix well until it forms a dough. The dough may be a little sticky but that’s ok!
Separate the dough into 5 equal sized pieces and place on a floured surface.
Roll each one into a ball and then gently press into the middle with your thumb and pull apart the sides to make a bagel shape. (see instagram video below for the visual)
Brush the top of each bagel with an egg wash ( 1 egg whisked) then top with your seasoning of choice. I personally love everything but the bagel seasoning from trader joes.
Place in the air fryer at 350 for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Let it cool and store in a zip lock bag on the counter. If keeping them longer than a week then you can freeze!
When you’re ready to eat, cut them in half and pop them in the toaster. Enjoy!
