Why I Love This Recipe

This is the kind of salad that disappears first at every summer get-together. The juicy watermelon, crisp cucumber, fresh lime, and Tajín create the perfect mix of sweet, tangy, spicy, and refreshing flavors in every bite. Whether you’re serving it alongside something fresh off the grill or bringing it to a barbecue, it’s an easy recipe that always feels like summer.

Enjoying The Leftovers

The watermelon releases more juice as it sits, making every bite extra refreshing.

Storing

Store the salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For the freshest texture, wait to add the Tajín until just before serving.

When you’re ready to eat

Give the salad a gentle toss before serving, then finish with an extra squeeze of fresh lime juice and a sprinkle of Tajín to brighten the flavors.
