what you’ll need:
1lb sirloin steak (I used flank, it’s better with sirloin!)
Coconut aminos
Rice vinegar
Huy fong chili garlic sauce
Minced garlic
Honey
Sesame oil
2 red bell peppers
1 yellow onion
Green beans
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt & pepper
Sesame seeds
Green onion
Instructions:
Start by making your marinade. Mix together 1/2 cup coconut aminos, 1/3 cup rice vinegar, 1tbs of chili garlic sauce, 1tbs of honey, 1tbs of sesame oil, and 1tbs minced garlic.
Slice your meat into strips and add to a bowl or bag. Then add in the marinade and mix well. Let this marinade for at least an hour but the longer the better.
Once the meat has finished marinating you can start prepping your veggies. Chop your bell peppers and onions into strips. To a pan on medium high heat add 1tbs of oil. Add in your green beans, bell peppers, and onions and mix them around. Cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes to prevent the veggies from burning. At the end remove the lid and let the water cook out. Once the veggies have softened and gotten a bit crisp add a bit of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
While the veggies are cooking preheat a pan to high heat. Once hot add in the meat to the pan. (Without the marinade juices) cook on both sides about 2 minutes until your meat is cooked to your liking. We like to leave ours on a bit longer to get it crispy!
Finally assemble everything together! Add a bit of veggies and meat to the bowl and top it all off with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Enjoy!
