what you’ll need:
1lb chicken breast
1 large orange
Coconut aminos
Honey
Rice vinegar
Ginger powder
Garlic powder
Red pepper flakes
Green onions
Sesame seeds
Corn starch or tapioca starch
Instructions:
Cut chicken breast into cubes and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. To a pan on medium high heat add a tablespoon of olive oil and your chicken cooking about 10 to 12 minutes until chicken is cooked all the way through.
While the chicken is cooking to a pot add the below ingredients and bring to a boil then turn to low to simmer.
The juice of 1 large orange
2tbs rice vinegar
3 1/2 tbs coconut aminos
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (more if you like it spicy)
1 tbs honey
Once it’s simmering, in a small dish add 1 tsp corn starch and 1tbs cold water and mix well. Add to the sauce and whisk together right away. Simmer for a few more min until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat and pour over your cooked chicken.
Top with sliced green onions and some sesame seeds. I had mine with some broccoli and carrots, and a little bit of brown rice. Enjoy!
