Crispy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor, these Ground Turkey Tostadas make taco night feel a little more exciting. With seasoned ground turkey, creamy refried beans, melted cheddar, and all your favorite fresh toppings, they're an easy weeknight dinner that's simple to customize and always a crowd-pleaser.
Preheat a large pan to medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked.
Add the taco seasoning packet and the amount of water instructed on the back of the seasoning packet. Mix well and simmer on low for a few minutes until the liquid thickens.
Add an even layer of tostadas to a foil-lined baking sheet. I could fit six on my baking sheet.
Add a scoop of refried beans to each tostada and gently spread it evenly.
Next, add some ground turkey mixture and top with shredded cheese.
Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese is nice and melty.
Top with your favorite toppings! I used guacamole, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, sour cream, freshly diced cilantro, and some hot sauce. Enjoy!
