Why I Love This Recipe

Making your own jam sounds like one of those things that should take all afternoon, but this version couldn’t be easier. With just three simple ingredients, you can have a fresh, fruity spread that’s naturally sweetened and ready to enjoy in no time. I almost always have a jar in my fridge because it’s an easy way to make breakfast or a snack feel a little more special.

Enjoying The Leftovers

I love making a batch at the beginning of the week because there’s always a new way to use it. Spoon it over yogurt, spread it on toast, swirl it into oatmeal, or even add a dollop to cottage cheese for an easy snack.

Storing

Transfer the chia jam to a clean jar or airtight container once it has cooled completely. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Reheating

This jam freezes beautifully. Portion it into small freezer-safe containers or silicone cubes and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before using.
