Why I Love This Recipe
Banana pudding has always been one of my favorite desserts, so I knew I wanted a version that felt just as satisfying while packing in a little more protein. It’s creamy, fluffy, easy to throw together, and perfect for keeping in the fridge whenever you’re craving something sweet. No baking required, which is always a bonus.
Enjoying The Leftovers
This pudding is even better after it’s had a little time to chill. The flavors meld together beautifully, but if you’re using crackers, I recommend adding them just before serving so they stay crisp. It’s perfect for grabbing straight from the fridge whenever a sweet craving hits.
Storing
Store the banana pudding in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. If you’re making individual servings, wait to add the banana slices and crackers until you’re ready to eat for the freshest texture.
When you’re ready to eat
Serve chilled with fresh banana slices, your favorite sweet crackers, and an extra dollop of whipped topping if you’d like. A light sprinkle of crushed crackers on top adds the perfect finishing touch and a little extra crunch.
