Why I Love This Recipe
I make these anytime I want something sweet without turning on the oven. They’re easy to throw together, made with a handful of simple ingredients, and always disappear fast from my freezer. The combination of banana, peanut butter, and dark chocolate never misses, and the little sprinkle of flaky sea salt at the end makes them feel like a homemade candy.
Enjoying The Leftovers
These are perfect to keep stocked in the freezer whenever you’re craving something sweet. Grab one straight from the freezer for a quick dessert or afternoon snack.
Storing
Store the banana bites in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag in the freezer for up to 2 months. If you’re stacking them, place a piece of parchment paper between the layers to keep them from sticking together.
When you’re ready to eat
Enjoy straight from the freezer. Let them sit at room temperature for a minute or two if you’d like the banana to soften slightly before taking a bite.

Frozen Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites
Instructions
- Slice the bananas in half, then slice them in half lengthwise, making four log-shaped pieces from each banana.
- Place the bananas on a medium-sized parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring each time, until fully melted.
- Drizzle the chocolate and peanut butter over the bananas. This does not need to look or be perfect!
- Add a sprinkle of sea salt over the top and place in the freezer for about 3-4 hours.
- Remove from the freezer and place in an airtight tupperware, then place back in the freezer to store.
